Entry requirements for the BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety

This course is designed to provide learners with the foundations to effectively assist with and manage work health and safety in the workplace. The course offers learners a broad range of practical knowledge and skills to assist to reduce the risks of workplace injury and illness and comply with work health and safety laws.

The course is a learning pathway to BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, and the five unit of competencies are the Entry requirements for the BSB51319 Diploma of Work health and Safety course will be covering the following topics:

1. Understanding workplace compliance with WHS laws
2. WHS consultation and participation
3. WHS risk management
4. Implementing WHS management systems
5. Workplace incident response
